Dear Reader,

the unexpected health emergency Covid-19 has generated in all of us a feeling of uncertainty and bewilderment about our ability to deal with what appears to be a trauma that is difficult to erase from our imagination and our memory of European citizens. Under the blows of this emergency which is added to the many still unresolved issues, the European project risks sinking in a difficultly to turn it back, at least in the next decades. This requires an assumption of responsibility and a mobilization by individuals as well as institutions.

For these reasons, we submit to your attention two letters concerning the future of Europe, to which the Center for European Studies has adhered. If you share the contents, you can subscribe to them following the indicated methods.

Cara Lettrice, Caro Lettore,

l’inaspettata emergenza sanitaria Covid-19 ha generato in noi tutti un sentimento di incertezza e smarrimento sulle nostre capacità di affrontare quello che si profila essere un trauma difficilmente cancellabile dalla nostra immaginazione e dalla nostra memoria di cittadini europei.  Sotto i colpi di questa emergenza che si aggiunge ai tanti nodi ancora irrisolti, il progetto europeo rischia di naufragare in modo difficilmente reversibile, almeno nei prossimi decenni. Ciò richiede un’assunzione di responsabilità e una mobilitazione da parte dei singoli come delle istituzioni.

Per questi motivi sottoponiamo alla tua attenzione due lettere riguardanti il futuro dell’Europa, alle quali il Centro Studi Europei ha aderito. Se ne condividi i contenuti, puoi sottoscriverle seguendo le modalità indicate.
